Captain McGonagle, -- ashore on liberty in Dakar, Senegal -- visits a native village of artisan's there. He took a Polaroid picture while
there and showed it to his subjects. A kid grabbed it and took it all around the village and showed it to everyone there. I didn't think
the C.O. was ever going to get his picture back! JUNE 17, 1966
Note: These are from some 8mm videos John Gidusko took. He later converted them to VCR video tape and still later 'captured' them digitally using 'snappy'.
He cut the size down to 200 pixels horizontal to keep the resolution good. I think they came out very good. Ed
