No Greater Love is committed to helping families, especially children, pay tribute to a loved one lost in service to our country or by an act of terrorism through annual public remembrance ceremonies and memorial dedications.  It also brings these families together for mutual support at ceremonies, community events, luncheons and holiday parties.

NGL is also committed to developing democracy's values in all of America's children through school activities, classroom remembrance ceremonies, letter writing to our troops, walks for peace, and the No Greater Love Pledge of Peace.

LaSpada created No Greater Love out of fierce conviction and determination -- working with limited resources out of her own apartment. Camella's original plan was to keep her efforts going for six months, enough time to establish a self-perpetuating organization. More than 25 years have passed since the day Carmella first founded No Greater Love. She soon realized that if she left, the work would not continue. She has developed a nationally recognized organization and the only one in the country that annually provides support and remembrance to survivors of those who lost their lives in service to their country or by an act of terrorism.
